Histories
Here we are going to add the histories of the places we investigate, especially the ones with very intriguing ones. We'll be updating this page all the time!
Peace Church Cemetery is a very old cemetery. Graves date back to the 1600's, all the way up to 2004. The majority of those buried here, are children. In fact, there are about 180 children buried here, more than half of them did not make it past their first day. Back then, this was a very common occurrence, as the medical technology, was limited. Many women died giving birth, and their young ones died with them. It is a sad place to walk in, and always sad to see the grave of an infant. We have even found the graves of a family of eight, all of their children died young. The most infamous name surrounding this cemetery, is that of a murderer named Billy Cook. Many have investigated this cemetery, in all the seasons, and have said they have seen or felt the spirit of this angry killer. Don't be surprised if you catch a misty figure walking around the graves at night. Is this the ghost of Billy Cook? We may never know. This cemetery definitely has the feeling that you are targeted by the eyes of the spirits walking in this dark cemetery. You may even experience the ghost of a friendly little girl, who perhaps is just happy to have some company. She sings songs, giggles, and shows off her playful little attitude through EVP's. Our group calls her Little Gracie, as we have not yet found out the name of our little friend. Evil growls have been documented here, as well as red glowing eyes. Have you investigated Peace Church Cemetery yet?
The Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas is not only beautiful and surrounded in trees and history, it is the scene of a long, and crazy history. Not only is it a long history, it is also dark. The Crescent opened in 1886 as a hotel and stayed open until 1901. From there it became a college for young girls, and then went into the hands of a fiendish and greedy fake doctor, Dr. Norman Baker. He filled his patients with hope that they would be cured of cancer. He preformed experiments on his patients, even cutting the tops of their skulls off, revealing their brains, and putting his own "walnut remedy" onto their brains. Many of his patients died on his table. He kept body parts and insides in jars down in his morgue, where he would preform more experiments on them after they were dead. The morgue is still in the Crescent Hotel. If you decide to take the ghost tour around 8:00PM, you can go down there yourself. The Crescent Hotel, does not remain in its complete original form. It has been renovated a few times, due to fire damage, lightning damage, and general wear and tear. They have restored the building to look just as it used to back in the old days. All the rooms are brightly colored; red, purple, etc. The owners reside in an upstairs loft, and have two cats: Jasper and Casper, that roam around the hotel as they please. There's something for everyone here at the Crescent Hotel.
